The 7th Tynemouth Scout Group

The address for the campsite we will be staying at this weekend is:

It is near to Bounds Green underground station.

We are meeting this Friday at North Shields Rugby Club which is situated behind Tynemouth Pool. The bus will be leaving at 4.30pm.

Just to confirm no one needs to being plates, mugs, forks etc these will be provided.

This Friday night 5th March we are going to Marden Bridge for trampoling and other sports.

It will cost £2.00 per person.

Meet at the church at 7.45pm or at Marden Bridge at 8.00pm.

Scouts enjoyed an incident packed weekend at Powburn including helicopters, celebrities, bush tucker trials and the Ben and James sewing.

Wilma is making good progress.

The final deadline for forms and money for this weekend is Friday 19th February, unfortunately this is half-term.

It would be very helpful if anyone going or wanting to go can pay this Friday. The total cost is £20.00. Some of you have already paid the deposit of £15.00 and therefore only have the final £5.00 to pay.

There is a form which needs to be completed to go to the camp (medical details etc). This must also be returned to me or Beth by Friday 19th February. I will be giving the form out on Friday or can be obtained from this site:  http://www.tynemouthexplorers.org.uk/events/london

This Friday 29th January the explorers will be going ice skating.

Meet at the church at the usual time at 7.45pm or at the Dinosaur Park in Tynemouth at 8.00pm.

The cost is £4 for under 16’s and £5 for the overs.

Please bring warm clothes, extra socks and gloves.
