Highlight of a great weekend was the victory of the 7th/9th/11th in the raft race. The Scouts didn’t even get wet. We came close in the Duke of Wellington competition as well.
Next up – Summer Camp 24-31 July.

Explorers returns this Friday night, 25th July, with a night at the beach to play some games.

Please meet at the church at the usual time of 7.45pm or at the Longsands beach at 8.00pm.

We will be finished and at the church for 9.15pm.

This Friday night the explorers are going climbing.

Meet at the church usual time 7.45pm and we will return to the church for the usual end time of 9.15pm.

The cost is £2.00 each.

This Friday night we will just be staying in at the church for a potentially award winning programme. Meet at the usual time 7.45pm.

Don’t forget its the last chance to bring your money £10 for the night hike. If you need another form let me know. I can also collect any subs as well.

Remember to give your seeds some TLC. Prizes for the biggest and best. Either take a photo (email it to me if you like), bring in September, or eat it.

This Friday explorers returns to normal meetings at the church.

We are doing indoor crazy golf. Meet at the usual time 7.45pm.

Don’t forget subs for the new term is now due and some still owe for last term.

Unfortunately the film night planned for this Friday has had to be cancelled. There is no films on at a suitable time or of interest.

So instead we are going bowling at Starbowl.

Meet at Starbowl at 7.55pm. The cost will be £4 each.

It is near to Bounds Green underground station.

We are meeting this Friday at North Shields Rugby Club which is situated behind Tynemouth Pool. The bus will be leaving at 4.30pm.

Just to confirm no one needs to being plates, mugs, forks etc these will be provided.
