It’s open to Explorer Scouts, Network and Leaders. The rough event synopsises is -

We have a copy of the rules if you want to take a look and you can win The Centenary Challenge trophy plus the winning team gets a bag of goodies per person.
Cost – £30 if paid before 30/05/08 then after that date the cost per person rises to £35 due to increase costs.
You can see highlights from last years event on the attached link.
As ever, leave a poat if you’re interested and I’ll bring it up next time we’re together.
I’ve had contact from Newcastle Network, they’re planning to go to Caud Marra and looking forward to meeting any of us who will be there. They’re also going to pubscouts festival in coventry (June 6th – 8th), haven’t had a chance to look into it yet, but have a look and see what you think.
They’re going to start meeting at the Wetherspoons on the quayside for the nice weather and have invited us to pop along, if you want to know any more they organise most of their stuff on Facebook so have a look.
They also have a suggestion for a summer activity - surfing. They really want to get an afternoon session sometime in the summer and it sounds like a great idea to me. Please comment on all of this below and next time we see each other and we can work on it fom there.
