Meet near the cafe on the longsands beach at 7:30.
Can someone volunteer to pick up a net / ball from the church the Friday before for volleyball? Frizbees etc would be good too.
If anyone thinks they’ll have trouble getting there leave a post or text me and I’ll work out lifts etc.
Invite anyone who you think might enjoy spending a bit of time on the beach – the more the merrier.
Those wonderful recycled scarecrows made their public appearance on Saturday at ‘Scarecrows in the Square’. No prizes but lots of comments praising the work of the Scouts.
Our ’100 Knot Out’ bay did steady business – here’s Matthew and a knot.
Congratulations to Scouts Martyn and Jack whose design for the Centenary Camp badge won the Stockdale Award. Congratulations and we look forward to everyone in Tynemouth District getting the badge at the Celebration Camp next year.
