This Friday 15th April is the St George’s Day Service at Christ Church, North Shields.
Please meet at 6.55pm in the school yard in full uniform.
There will be no meetings the next two weeks the bank holidays for the royal wedding and Good Friday. Scouts and Explorers return on Friday 6th May at the usual time 7.45pm.
As has been the case the rest of this terms plans have had to change again. Unfortunately we cannot book Marden Bridge for this week so are going bowling at Star Bowl instead.
Please meet either there at 7.55pm or if you need a lift at the church at 7.45pm. We will be back at the church by the usual end time 9.15pm.
The cost is £3.75 each.
The week after (Friday 8th April) is the second Explorers Dodgeball Competition.
Again this will be at the Coast Explorers Headquarters (6th Tynemouth Headquarters, Manor Road, Tynemouth beside Holy Saviours roundabout).
This night will run between 7.00-9.00pm.
Also for those going to the camp in the Lakes this May there will be a chance to have your say about what you would like to do at the camp.
This Friday night we are going to the cinema to watch Paul. Sorry there is no vote there isn’t much else of interest for this age group.
We are going to the Odeon on the Silverlink. Please meet there at 6.15pm. It will cost £6.60. We should be leaving by about 8.45pm.

I have booked Ice Skating at centre for life on Friday, the only time I could book was 6.15 – 7.15 so explorers will be early on Friday. Please meet at the church at 5.30 and we will return to the church at 8.00 (If you are being picked up by parents please get them to pick you up at 8.00 as there will be no explorers on at the church afterwards). The group will be subsidising the night a little so the cost to you will be £5.00 this will include an hour ice skating plus a hot chocolate and a cookie when we come off the ice. Please wear sensible clothing and bring a spare pair of socks and some gloves.
As David emailed a few days ago we are short on transport to get you all to the centre for life we need at least two parents to help with transport, could you please ask your parents if they would be willing to help and let David know a.s.a.p.
UPDATE: We have had no response regarding help with transport, and we definitely do not have enough cars to transport you all there, so is there a group of you that would be willing to get the metro to centre of life and meet us there???? If so could you let David know a.s.a.p so that we know how many of you will be meeting at the church and how many will be meeting us there. If we get no help with transport and nobody willing to get the metro then I will allocate a seat in the cars to those of you that have paid subs for this term and unfortunately may need to leave behind some that haven’t.
